During the Wednesday, February 18, 2026, MOAA Bradenton Chapter Luncheon at Peridia Golf and Country Club, Chapter President Rick Buchanan was pleased to offer the following tributes:

1. Gill Ruderman was recognized with the Florida Council of Chapters Leadership Award

2. LTC Kevin Wright was welcomed to the Bradenton Chapter as its newest member and as a new Life Member of National MOAA

3. Steven Carnes, the President of the MOAA Sarasota Chapter, was a welcomed visitor to the Bradenton Luncheon and expressed support for collaboration between Chapters
